Meetings

THE ILLINOIS FORUM GENERALLY MEETS on the third Sunday of each month. Approximately 2/3rds of the meetings are held in central Illinois at the Champaign airport (Willard Field) while the remaining 1/3rd are held in upstate Brookfield, Illinois.

The next meeting of the Illinois Forum will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Paisan’s Restaurant, Brookfield, Illinois. To review the agenda, click HERE

The Brookfield meeting will begin shaping up with a Dutch Treat luncheon starting around noon at Paisan’s Restaurant. The meeting itself is gaveled to order at 1:00PM sharp in the meeting room section of the restaurant. Every 20 years, Illinois residents are given the opportunity to choose whether they want to hold a “Constitutional Convention,” or “ConCon.”

A “ConCon” provides the entry point for amending the Illinois Constitution to include such things as recall, innitiative, and referendum.
